1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all plumbing services provided by Flowmax. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

1.2. Flowmax may update these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Services

2.1. We provide plumbing services across Auckland, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.

2.2. All services are subject to availability, and your booking will be confirmed once scheduled.

2.3. Emergency call-outs are available 24/7. A call-out fee applies outside normal business hours (8 AM to 5 PM) and on public holidays. Please contact us to enquire about after-hours rates.

2.4. We offer free quotes for larger jobs such as hot water cylinder installations, water mains, and kitchen or bathroom renovations.

Pricing & Payments

3.1. A minimum charge of one hour of labour applies to all jobs. Time is then rounded to the nearest quarter hour.

3.2. All jobs include a small vehicle or travel charge, which varies by location, along with a modest consumables charge.

3.3. Labour time begins when work starts on site or when parts need to be collected before arriving on site, and ends once the job is completed.

3.4. Payment is due by online banking within seven days of job completion. This is our preferred payment method, as it does not add extra fees for our customers.

3.5. All online card payments, including credit and debit cards, carry a 2.95% processing fee on top of the invoice total.

Cancellations & Refunds

4.1. Clients must provide at least 24 hours of notice for cancellations or to reschedule a booking.

4.2. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee.

Liability & Warranty

5.1. Flowmax completes all work to industry standards.

5.2. Our workmanship is covered by a 12-month warranty. This excludes normal wear and tear or misuse.

5.3. We are responsible only for fittings and fixtures supplied by Flowmax. We do not accept liability for existing materials or previous work carried out by third parties.

If you have already purchased fittings you would like us to install, we will need to confirm that they are suitable and fit for purpose. If the items are not durable, appropriate, or safe to install, we may advise that we cannot use them. We will recommend suitable alternatives where possible.

Health & Safety

6.1. We follow all New Zealand health and safety requirements and ask that clients provide safe access to their property.

6.2. Clients must inform us of any known hazards before work begins.
